After a five-year recording break, Montenegrin singer Davor Vučetić is back on the music scene. For his comeback, he chose the ballad "Dušo", which he promoted in the Nikšić bar "Mačaka", where the video premiered. The new single is signed by Sanja Arsić, who wrote the lyrics, and Peđa Jovanović, in charge of music and arrangement.
The video, which was shot on Lake Krupa, is the work of Rad Mićanović and Miloš Tomašević, and Jelena Čolović and Amel Muratović appear in it.
"Music is my life and not a day goes by without it, but I have various circumstances, especially musical ones, that five-year break happened. I hope it won't happen again. This return means a lot to me and I'm really excited about it," Davor told "Vijesti".
He "sailed" into musical waters in 2003 when he participated in the Intro Karaoke competition. He recorded the first single "Kako to boli" in 2008, and the last, the seventh, "Nisam znavo", in 2012. He admits that he really did not know that he would take a five-year break when it comes to his discography. He does not hide that he is his own biggest critic, that he rarely watches the videos he made and listens to the songs he recorded, but he is proud of the single "Sweetheart".
"I am very proud of this single and I would like it to be my 'identity card' and a stepping stone in my career. It's a ballad because I 'swim' best in pop music, and I record what I like and where I feel beautiful. I don't like to make instant hits and shoot something where I don't feel comfortable. I hope that the audience will like the song at least half as much as I do and that they will enjoy it", said Davor, who is already making plans for the future.
"I'm preparing new material, I already have something ready, and I plan to sing every day", said the musician with a smile who is not thinking about the album but still intends to work one single at a time, as far as it goes. SV.M.
