Senidah performs at the closing of the Sea Dance Festival

Slovenian singer Senidah will perform on Sunday, August 29, at the closing of the Sea Dance festival, the organizers announced today.

"Senidah, one of the most sought-after regional stars and the Balkan trap queen as many call her, will once again unite the region with her hits on Sunday, August 29, at the Sea Dance Festival. If we only talk about the things that describe this woman in the simplest way and which are her brought great popularity - then that is courage and authenticity. The courage to absolutely dominate a musical direction that has been dominated by male artists for years, take awards and at the same time be perfectly sober about his success. Never before on the regional music scene have we seen such a chameleon, almost seamless transitions from trance to pop, and from fast and fun pop to completely raw, but also raw ballads that leave us restless. She is Senidah and that is her superpower," the Sea Dance Festival press release states.

The announcement adds that "her tracks have been marching on the music scene of the region for only a few years, although she was involved in music in Slovenia long before that with the group Muff".

"The beginnings of her career are marked by performances in front of the building where she lived as a child, and her energy even today has its roots in that first impulse to engage in music, which drew her even as a child. Names such as Coby, RAF Camora, Atlas Erotika and Dino Merlin are on her tracks, and her skill is to bring something completely different with each collaboration, while at the same time conveying crazy energy to us. That's why we haven't heard a single song of hers that left us indifferent. Senida's voice color, which is hard and rough, it sets her apart from all the female artists whose work we have met so far, and launches her into a special category that she will surely establish well in the coming years. Although the first association with her name is a fast tempo, an explosion of energy and literally cutting the listeners with lyrics , does not run away from ballads and very nonchalantly serves her naked emotions to the audience. "For these reasons, it is expected that on the last evening of the Sea Dance Festival, the energy it carries will reach its zenith, and we can't wait to go wild with it. In addition to Senida, the seventh edition of the Sea Dance Festival, which will last four days this year, from the 26 until August 29 in the turquoise bay of Buljarica beach in Budva, brings a fantastic lineup composed of leading international and regional music stars of the electronic, rock and trap/hip hop scene, such as Boris Brejcha, Maceo Plex, Meduza, Satori, Topic, Bajaga and Instructors, Senidah, Vojko V, Who See, z++, Sajsi MC and many others," the announcement reads.

Sea Dance also announced the Safety Protocol for entering the festival:

"One of the key conditions for holding the festival is compliance with the security protocols for the organization of mass events, which the EXIT festival applied in Novi Sad, but adapted to the conditions in Montenegro. Visitors who meet one of the four conditions from the National COVID Certificate will be able to enter the festival : proof that the person is fully vaccinated or has received at least the first dose of the vaccine, or a negative PRC test not older than 72 hours, or a positive PCR test result older than 14 and not older than 180 days (which is proof that the visitor has spent Kovid-19), or negative rapid antigen test BAT, not older than 48 hours.
