It was the beginning of something big...

After leaving the band "Riblja chorba" in 1984, Momčilo Bajagić founded the band "Bajaga and instructors".

They released their first album "Positive Geography" on this day, 38 years ago. The tracks "Tamara", "Pljubi me", "Tekila Guerilla" are still heard from it.

In 1998, the mentioned project was ranked 37th in the list of the 100 greatest Yugoslav rock and pop albums in the book "YU 100: the best albums of Yugoslav rock and pop music".

"It was the beginning of something big..." reads the message published on the official Facebook page of the band Bajaga and Instructors.

The songs were recorded during November and December 1983, in a rented apartment and in Studio 5 of PGP-RTB, with the help of production by Kornelij Kovač. The musicians who participated in the recording of the album, who would later become members of Bajaga and Instructor, were Dejan Cukić (formerly Bulevar, vocals), Miroslav Cvetković Cvele (formerly Pop Mašina, bass guitar), Nikola Stamatović (formerly Zebra, Suncokret and Bulevar, guitar) and Vladimir Golubović (drums).

Bajagić himself sang and played the guitar on the album, and the Japanese Nenad Stefanović on bass guitar, Dragan Jovanović Krle (ex-Generacija 5) on guitar, Kire Mitrev (KIM) on trombone, Suzana Petričević as vocalist (on the song "Papaline" which was her singing debut), Ivan Švager on clarinet, Borislav Pavićević Longa as backing vocalist, as well as the producer of the album signed Kornelije Kovač.
