In November, Bob Dylan will publish his first book since "Chronicles: Volume One" from 2004 and the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2016, and as reported by the Swedish media, it will be called "The Philosophy Of Modern Song".
Dylan began writing this book in 2010, and it contains 60 essays focusing on songs by other artists, from Stephen Foster to Nina Simone.
As he describes himself, in his essays he deals with the 'trap of easy rhythm', and the book is completed with 150 carefully selected photographs.
"The publication of this brilliant work will be an international celebration of the song by one of the greatest artists of our time. 'The Philosophy Of Modern Song' can only be written by Bob Dylan. His voice is unique and his work reflects a deep respect and understanding of the song, but also the people who have given them life," said the Simon & Schuster publishing house.
