The sixteenth edition of the Petrovac Jazz Festival will be held from September 1 to 4, and the organizers announce that this year, jazz lovers will enjoy themselves during four evenings.
"This year's edition will be opened by domestic forces, so that honor has gone to them Marija Božović who will perform with her band. It will be an opportunity for Maria to promote her new album. After that, the audience will have the opportunity to hear the Mauro Sigura Quartet, which comes to us from Italy, and at the end of the evening, the Bojana Stamenov. Although Bojana has been heard in various releases - pop, soul, jazz, disco, at the Petrovac Jazz Festival this singer will perform a blues repertoire. For now, we have decided to reveal only the program of the first evening, and we hope that the rest of the festival will be equally interesting for the audience", he revealed to Vijesta. As in the previous editions, during the four days of the festival, this time the guests will hold workshops and lectures for future jazzers, workshops, and films will be shown.
"Our goal is to have a program that will satisfy all tastes throughout the day, not just evening concerts, so there will be jam sessions for our guests, as well as daily street acoustic concerts. Certainly, this year we tried our best to raise the festival a step higher thanks to the program. We will soon announce the complete program, and until then, jazz lovers should get ready for a four-day all-day party. What is important to emphasize is that the program of the Petrovac Jazz Festival will be free this year as well", said Mihajlović.
