With the performance of the world star Tom Odel, the two-day season opening ceremony began last night on the square in front of the walls of the Old Town in Budva.
Many visitors of all generations enjoyed his performance, following his energy and poetic interpretation of the most beautiful and well-known tracks from his rich musical career.
Tom Odell once again showed his magnificent talent and the ability to convey even the strongest emotions with his voice solo accompanied by the piano.
His performance in Budva will be remembered for the emotions and refinement that left no one indifferent, but also for the choral singing of the famous hit "Another love" that Tom sang with the audience present.
In the second part of the evening, an energetic and unusual performance by the young cellists "Sky Cellos" followed, and their performance of cult numbers such as the title track of the "Game of Thrones" series, the films "The Godfather" and "Gladiator", was greeted with applause by the audience in a great mood.
The performance was completed by the renowned Montenegrin creator Milena Đurđić, who presented her collection called "Grubo vrijeme" with the notes of famous world hits in the interpretation of "Sky Cellos".
The evening continued with a musical stage performance during which pianist Mina Rusche and accordion maestro Petar Marić showed the audience their talent and virtuosity, while the American singer Tomisha Monae and opera singers Marija Nešić and Mattia Zanatta created a fusion of sounds, from opera, through pop, to rock.
The young pop singer Nevena Božović, who performed at the end of the evening, accompanied by a band, did not hide her special excitement and joy that she will mingle with the audience in Budva.
"It is a great pleasure to sing with you again", Nevena said on stage, and for this occasion, in addition to her own songs, she prepared a number of great interpretations of cult songs such as "Daire", "Jovano, Jovanke", "Produži dalje" , "Old Trumpets".
Exactly at midnight with the notes of the Turkish March and "Bella ciao", the spectacular fireworks started to the delight of all present, and the party continued at the beautiful location of the Mogren fortress with the performance of the great Erick Kasell and DJ Nexie.
The square in front of the walls of the Old Town tonight, as part of the second night of the season opening ceremony, will host maestro Bojan Suđić with the festival orchestra "Virtuosi" and soloists - Sofija Petrović, Maja Bogdanović, Dejan Jovanović and Remus Alazaroae.
An unusual stage and music program "Medley performance" awaits the audience on other evenings from 23:30 p.m. on the stage in front of the Old Town.
At one of the most beautiful locations in Budva with a view of the sea - the Mogren fortress, an hour after midnight the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy the afterparty and dance until the early hours of the morning with the legends of electronic music DJ Roger Sanchez, as well as his great and talented colleagues DJ Pookie and Vladimir Aćić, and the entrance will be free.
