Regional music stars Nela, Angelina, Sara Jo and Senidah presented themselves to the Podgorica audience on the second night of the M:tel City Groove festival.
The evening was opened by the young artist Antonela Đinđić Nela, who after the performance could not hide her enthusiasm for the audience and their reactions to the recently released songs "Sto godina" and "Problem."
"This is the best concert I've ever had in my life and I have to admit that I had no expectations. I didn't have the opportunity to perform in front of a Montenegrin audience and this surprised me so much that I still can't come to my senses," said Nela, as reported by Mediabiro.
He believes that festivals are the right place for the exchange of energy between performers and listeners, and hopes that their organization will return to the big doors.
This was followed by the performance of the regional teenage star Angelina, who pointed out that she likes working in Montenegro the most, which she perceives as her second home. He admits that during the summer season, in breaks between performances, he likes to taste local delicacies.
"Honestly, I like to eat fish and squid. We don't have quality sea fish in Belgrade, that's why I always eat that when I come here," she said.
She is expecting a large number of concerts, so she announces that the local audience will have the opportunity to listen to her in Tivat, Budva, as well as Podgorica.
A lot has changed for Sara Jovanović, who performed at the same festival in 2019. She explains that Podgorica never disappoints and that is exactly why she prepared a special repertoire.
"Just today I played the recordings to the team that was not with us, purely to prepare them, so that they know what awaits them. In some cities, time is necessary for the audience to warm up, and Podgorica always welcomes us in such a way that it knocks us off our feet during the first track ”, she said.
He describes his performances in our country as a "wedding" and reveals that whenever he has time, he likes to visit Podgorica and Budva.
Sara's performance was an overture to the trep sound and concert of Senida Hajdarpašić, who additionally cheered up the audience with the hits "Behute", "Replay" and "Mišići" and prepared a concert to remember, writes Mediabiro.
Tonight is the third and last night of the festival. Instead of the Croatian singer-songwriter Lu Jakelić, who canceled her participation, the local Ensemble "Toć" will perform. Gabriela Cilmi, an Australian singer of Italian origin, will also have the opportunity to introduce herself to the local audience. After her, time is reserved for the Belgrade music group "Artan Lili". and the British electro-pop band "Kosheen" will close the festival.
