David Bowie has been named the most influential British artist of the last 50 years for his ability to excel in the worlds of music, film and fashion.
The planet was shocked when it was announced on January 10, 2016: “David Bowie is dead”.
The British musician died of cancer diagnosed 18 months earlier, and few people knew about it. The news completely surprised the public, because just two days earlier, on his 69th birthday, Bowie released the studio album "Blackstar".
He excelled in roles Nikola Tesla in the famous movie "The Prestige", in realisation Ben Stiller "Zoolander" played himself, while in "Labyrinth" Jim Henson played the main role.
