This year's 13th edition of Bedem Fest will be held from September 1 to 3 under the slogan "Bedem Fest has descended on the city".
With the very slogan, the organizer of the festival announced that this year's edition will not be held at the old city fortress, after which the festival is named, but the venue will be Freedom Square, as well as the terrace of the "Onogošt" hotel.
The festival, as well as the "September Days of Culture", will be opened by a concert by Matija Dedić, and Marijana Zlopaš will perform as a guest.
"Maestro Matija Dedić, who carries with him and brings the spirit of Arsen Dedić and Gabi Novak, with his spirituality and virtuosity will revive memories of the 'chansonnier and avant-garde times' of our Nikšić and numerous gatherings and conversations held on the iconic terrace of the hotel 'Onogošt'. Great Matija, for whom this is his first visit to Nikšić, he is looking forward to the concert," states the press release signed by the festival's director, Petar Šundić.
He did not want to reveal the names of all the participants, but he announced that on September 2 and 3, Nikšić's Trg will be a place with good sound and that numerous performers will perform.
He announced one performer - the group "Partibrejkers", which is celebrating its 40th anniversary, and Nikšić will host that jubilee.
"We are convinced that Montenegro and Nikšić will be the epicenter of good sound, camaraderie, good vibes, love for everyone and for everything during the days of the Bedem Fest," said Šundić and announced that he would soon announce numerous novelties.
