So that you can't be bored at Tjentište during OK Fest, the "fault" is the organizers, who completed the visitors' day with various programs and events both during the day and in the evening.
Thus, the second day of the festival began with the promotion of the book "Solunska 28 - Part II" by Nelet Karajlić.
At the same place, from 21 p.m., the film "Protest in the Land of Caries" was shown.
On the "Summer stage" of the Nektar OK Fest on the second day of the festival, the audience was danced and entertained by DJ Nick Curly.
But the funnest part of the day was in the camp, on the "Sky Cola OK Stage", where the pioneers of the Serbian alternative rock scene - Obojeni Program, the pioneers of the reggae scene in the Balkans - Del Arno Band and the Croatian band Elemental were in charge of having a good time.
"For us, every stage is a big stage. Every audience is worth pleasing. Everything else is a matter of ego. To be honest, it was much nicer for me on the small stage in the camp, despite the heat", commented Jovan Matić, frontman of Del Arno Band, to "Vijesta" after the performance.
The stage in the camp is more intimate and it's easier to interact with the audience, and Remi from Elemental was also pleased that a place was found for them at the OK fest and that they had the opportunity to mingle with the audience at Tjentište.
"For the last seven days, I had rents every day. My ego went crazy - "we're not on the main stage, what is this". But until we started the concert, I didn't really understand what a camp stage was. It's complete madness and I thank the organizers for putting us on this stage and I'm sorry if I've had hiccups for the last seven days", laughingly told "Vijesti" Remi, who revealed at the concert that they traveled for more than ten hours to get there to Tjentište, but the fatigue they felt was not felt during the performance.
"Fatigue never affects what happens on stage, but it affects the moment when you get off the stage and the adrenaline from the performance releases you. Then you're a few steps lower than you would be when it all lets you go. We've gotten used to it, we can handle it all well, even combined gigs and long trips. It's just like that - if you want to be a regional band then put up with the fact that you'll be traveling for eight plus hours, but those are the kind of journeys and crazy adventures on the road. It's still fun for me. When I stop having fun, we will probably stop playing," she said.
Before sunset, which is a special experience in NP Sutjeska, the audience moved to the "Visa Main Stage" where Artan Lili started the evening. Their performance was marked by a groove to which it is impossible to remain indifferent, and everyone danced to the well-known hits "Maca", "Srce", "If we stay here", "Rock and roll after rock and roll", "It doesn't matter".
"We were once and we really have good memories from this festival. We were greeted by the audience, it was a lot. At one point I realized that it was a total victory. At the end of the sound rehearsal I realized that the sun was going down behind the hills and everything was ready. It's a good ambience. It is an exceptional and special place that owes us a debt, and I hope that we repay it in the best possible way", said Bojan Slacala, frontman of the Artan Lili band, after the performance.
The former member of Zemlja Groove, which became popular all over Europe thanks to last year's performance at the Eurovision Song Contest - Konstrakt created a spectacle during the concert. Singing the songs that marked her solo career, as well as those she wrote for her parent band, Konstrakta showed what a world show looks like. She even asked the guys in the audience who were in white suits to join her on stage and they ended up performing her biggest hit “In Corpore sano” together.
"It seems to me that this festival has grown. We as Zemlja Gruva were in 2018, on a smaller stage. Today it is difficult for a festival to survive, and this one survived. I have the impression that there are even more people than back then, and it was real for us great," said Konstructa after the performance.
The heated crowd readily welcomed the cult band Bombaj Štampa, which performed for the first time at OK Fest. Singing legendary hits like "Mali motorin", "Mrak i ja" and "Bjele letim sam", they made a perfect overture for Djiboni, who performed around midnight. The Mediterranean touch enchanted the visitors, and the audience sounded like a grandiose choir.
After the performance, Djiboni told the media that he fondly remembers his last performance at this place, that he loves the forest and water, and that this is why he likes to return to this place. When asked how he manages to reconcile different generations in his audience at events like this, he answered that festivals do it themselves, and that music brings people together more than it changes them.
After the performance, the audience moved to the camp, where Mladen Tomić and Lea Dobričić performed. Choosing dance rhythms tailored to campers, they closed the second festival night.
Tonight is the final night of the OK fest, Detour, Deca loših mušića and Smoke Mardeljano will perform on the stage in the camp in the afternoon, and the main stage is reserved for concerts by the groups Zoster, Sve barabe, Brkova and Darko Rundek.
