Montenegrin multimedia artist for many years Slavko Kalezić he was preparing for the three minutes that would launch him into orbit, and that's exactly what happened at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest when he represented Montenegro. From then until today, Slavko has been a regular guest at all Eurovision parties, and fans show again and again that they haven't forgotten his hit number "Space".

This artist has not hidden from his beginnings that one of his role models and muses is the r'n'b diva Beyonce, and with particular pride always shares on social networks the situation where a famous musician copied him.

This happened a few days ago when he shared a photo from the music video for the track "Space" and the recently released Beyoncé, both of whom are in blue long dresses.

"For the umpteenth time. I promise. She and me. On stage. It will happen. It will be one of the cheekbones on the art cake. The festivities continue," Slavko wrote under the published photo.

In an interview with "Vijesti", he does not hide that he is proud of the fact that they think alike, and he also referred to the recent performance he had in Scandinavia, where he delighted the uncle of a famous musician...

Since the beginning of your career, you have not hidden your respect and love for Beyoncé's work, and it is evident that you match when it comes to fashion. It often happens that after you she brings almost identical creations. How much does it mean to you considering that you are also the creative director of all your projects?

It means an indescribable amount to me. It is clear that, when it comes to my smallness, there are no boundaries and let's not forget that Beyoncé saw my creativity through a mutual collaborator. She did not hide her enthusiasm about everything she saw. And how much I respect her, because she is someone who constantly works on herself, does not hide, but always wants to move forward when it comes to performing skills. My career is in the most beautiful sense scattered on all sides of artistic activity and the more I go forward, the more I am aware of the obligation to give the best of what I have. Always. And forever.

You recently performed on a famous cruise ship in Scandinavia, where you won over the audience. There was also an interesting spectator in the audience. What is it?

Yes. The performance went great and was watched by more than a thousand people. I am happy when I exceed my own expectations. After the performance, there was a "meet & greet" with me and, among others, the uncle of a world-famous singer approached me The Weeknd and he did not hide his delight after my twenty-five minute performance. He told me my energy was world class and he had to take a picture with me. By the way, he was traveling through Europe. For me, these are moments that are of inestimable importance.

You've worked with Nicole Scherzinger, Simon Cowell, Nicholas Lyndhurst, you're friends with Lorin and Conchita Wurst, can you get Beyoncé?

Like I said, I don't know the limits of my own ideas. In my case there are none. I will reveal another very important moment. I know her special friend and stylist called Ty Hunter. He is like a brother to her. So...everything goes in its own way. And I am someone who surprises.

Compared to other Montenegrin performers, the Eurosong competition brought you a lot. Does that mean that you yourself knew how to use those three minutes on stage and is it luck or maximum commitment?

I knew how to use those three minutes. Let's not forget that immediately after the Eurovision Song Contest, the British X Factor took place. Maximum commitment is the essence. For years I've been preparing for those three minutes that will launch me into orbit and, after that launch, there's no stopping. Until those three minutes, I was preparing. So nothing happens overnight. Work, work and work.

The 2023/2024 theater season will start soon. How involved will you be?

Everyone who truly follows my work knows that theater is my first love and that everything begins and ends through theater creation. Theater is my blood and it comes first. And how I will be engaged. The new season and special stage joys during the performance of the plays "Ščeri moja", "Očevi su grad(il)", "Children of the Sun"... I am looking forward to work, i.e. renewal of the performance "The Visit" with which we will mark the day of the Montenegrin National Theater. I am especially excited to play the shows "Soulfood" and "Confessions". I started working on a new play called "The Letter". We will talk about that soon... It will be my soul's project...
