Sinead O'Connor shared a heartbreaking video on Facebook in which she revealed she was having suicidal thoughts and living alone in a hotel in New Jersey, with everyone giving up on her.
The 92-year-old singer published a twelve-minute video on her official Facebook page in which she told fans that she has been left to her own devices for two years, because "her family and Ireland don't care", reports BXNUMX.
“I hope this video helped. Not to me, but to the fact that I'm just one of a million people who are like me, who don't have the resources I have in my purse and heart to help themselves. I'm currently living in a hotel on the edge of New Jersey. I am left to myself. There's no one in my life, except my doctor, psychiatrist, the most wonderful man on Earth, who says I'm his hero—and that's the only thing that keeps me alive, the fact that I'm his hero, which is pretty pathetic. Mental illness is like a drug - it doesn't care who you are. And you know what's worst? Shame doesn't care who you are."
The singer explained that she had three mental illnesses and was waiting for her family to help her and take her home.
"My children, is it acceptable to you that your mother lives in a hotel? Am I not worth fighting for? John Reynolds, I am the mother of your children, everything I gave you... Yes, I wrote some angry emails and nonsense on Facebook, so what?” she said, adding that two years of her life revolved around actually staying in life.
