A new musical group called "Hannibal" presented itself to the Montenegrin audience with the first single "No Wind to the North", which can be listened to on the YouTube platform.
"'Hannibal', a new name on the Montenegrin music scene, represents a true refreshment for all lovers of rock sound and quality songs. After a year of gaining initial affirmation through club performances, this quintet created from youth and great experience shared on internet platforms the debut single 'No wind to the north', for which a music video was recorded in several locations in Podgorica", says the announcement of the song.
"Band leader and video director, bass player Slaven Ivanovic we got to know him best through his long-term involvement in the group 'Jesenjin', and the author of the song Igor Perović through work on the hits of the mentioned band, as well as 'Grimma', Boža Bulatović, Svetlana Raickovic, the group 'Krug', and numerous other performers. Very talented singer of the band Kristina Pavićević is certainly a star on the rise, which is contributed by her youth and gorgeous vocal abilities that gave the group's first hit great value", the announcement said.
"One of the spiritus movens of the group is i Bećir Koljenović, a young guitar virtuoso who has been involved in the arrangement work on the songs of 'Hannibal' from the start and pushes the team forward in terms of production. Nikola Zdravković, one of the most recognizable and high-quality young drummers in Montenegro, defines the energy of 'Hannibal' with his rhythm and encourages the listeners to move", explained the band.
The song was mixed and mastered by a producer and multi-instrumentalist from Sarajevo Dino Mangafić, the first graduate composer of film music in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"The loving and yet energetic song 'No Wind to the North' is a dedication to Podgorica and the nostalgia of those who, for various reasons, continued their lives abroad, but still carry it in their hearts," say the members of the band "Hannibal".
The music video for the song "No wind to the north" is currently being edited and promotion is expected in the coming period.
