A new name on the Croatian music scene, Ana Širić released a music video for the song "Kažu svi da izmiljam" on which she collaborated with Damir Urban.
Širić was in the final of the reality show "The Voice" where Urban was her mentor, and this track is the fruit of their friendship that they achieved on the show. The song was released three weeks ago and was on the Croatian charts, and now the music video has been released, which is signed by Milica Czerny Urban, the wife of a famous musician.
"With the music video for 'Everyone Says I'm Making It Up', I wanted to tell a story about people who, although everyone suspects that their lives will intertwine, remain strangers, but bound by a song. I think songs have the power to tell an intimate story in a universal language and thus connect people who may never actually meet. That's how Ana's song becomes a song, not only for Damir, but also for all of us," said Milica.
For Širić, this was the first experience of shooting a music video, which she said was challenging, interesting and beautiful.
"The beauty of the scenery of the simple scenes wonderfully and harmoniously drowns out the lyrics and melody of the song. Meeting without meeting, love in the space between. I am overjoyed because Milica saved Damir and me in the video, showed us as we are, without false representations," she added.
