A unique atmosphere of togetherness and fun marked the second day of the Nektar OK fest in one of the most beautiful, but also historically significant places - Tjentištu.

The music program started on the OK summer stage, where the campers were looking for refreshment from the hot July day, and it seems that they were additionally warmed up by the rhythms chosen by Nemax and Mladen Tomić.

The program was created so that everyone can find a sequence that suits them, and at the same time, the book "1001 craziest world and Ex-Yu rock pearl" author Josip Dujmović was promoted in the OK Book zone, while the Atheist Rep band played on the Jägermeister OK stage.

And while fans of the book enjoyed anecdotes and controversies from the world of music, Atheist Rep showed on stage at the camp why they are one of the most important punk bands for 25 years. According to frontman Aleksandar Popov, they have already been to this festival, and they knew very well what to expect when it comes to the audience, because they played for the first time at OK Fest back in 2015.

"Then we played on the big stage, and after that we were three more times on this small stage and we always had a good time", confirmed Popov to "Vijesta", who did not hide that he was delighted that the camp was full.

"I like camping myself, and if I had support I would camp. My wife asked me why we bought a tent, when we don't use it. I love places like this and I'm sorry that I didn't take the opportunity to swim in the pool and the river, but I still have to be aware of my age and that I can't do it anymore. This area is the best in the former state, and by God, it is also wider," Popov noted.

After them, the audience enthusiastically welcomed Tamikrest, a band that performed for the first time in Tjentište.

"We felt great, we are very happy to be here. This is the first time we have been here, this is a very nice place and it seems like it is in the middle of nowhere. Everyone is so relaxed, from the people working at the festival to the audience. The audience was great, we felt that they were happy. There is something very special here, something wild, this is a great place for a festival. I didn't know that the rainforest festival was within reach, I think that this experience, where you can just lie in the sun, listen to music or just rest by the river, is somehow meditative", said Tamikrest after the performance.

The daily program at the OK Stage on the second day of the festival was closed by Bad Copy, and with the first words of the song "Uno, due, tre" the audience fell into complete ecstasy that lasted until the very end of the concert, when Ajs Nigrutina, Sky Wikluha and Timbeta , after they got off the stage, surrounded by fans.

Before sunset, which is a special experience in NP Sutjeska, the audience moved to the Visa Main Stage, where the eclectic band Svemirko started the evening.

"It's our first time at OK Fest, a very professional festival, the audience is great and this is a positive experience for us. Ok fest has the reputation of a big festival, so we knew it was in a good place, but you never know what will await you. Normally, I have no expectations when I go somewhere for the first time. When it comes to the audience, they saw off our performance nicely, although it is clear that they are not very familiar with our repertoire, but they made an effort, they were engaged and saw us off nicely", said Svemirko.

Dino Šaran and his crew, widely known as Letu Stuke, brought their greatest hits from four studio albums to Tjentište. It was shining behind the stage, but that didn't scare Stuka or the audience.

"It's a great atmosphere, and it's always a good atmosphere when we play at the OK Fest", said after the concert Šaran, whose band presented a slightly changed repertoire.

"We played fast songs at the very beginning, and left the slower ones for the end in order to lower the atmosphere because we are leaving the stage and the next band is coming. We made a set list so that we included some old stuff that we haven't played in a long time, that's for our own interest", confirmed Šaran.

The current album "Topla voda" was released in 2018, and Dino reveals that new songs are coming soon.

"Wait for the new album, the songs are already ready. From September, we start the realization because the summer is busy for us, so we can't really dedicate ourselves to it. It is planned to be on the air in the spring, and before that we will release several singles", promised Saran.

Although they have several decades of experience, numerous big tours around the world, hits, concerts, the band Parni valjak showed that they are not ready to retire yet. Namely, the new singer Igor Drvenkar brought new energy, and the audience sang along with him all the songs that Valjak recorded when the late singer Aki Rahimovski was in the band. Like a true showman, Igor managed to animate the audience, at one point he even jumped off the stage and shook hands and took photos with fans in the front row. But the audience knew the new hits just as well, which at times caused emotional reactions from the author of all Valjko's songs - founder and guitarist Husein Hasanefendić Hus.

"During our entire career, we were happy to play festivals, because previously it was an opportunity to play in front of an audience that otherwise would not come to see you because they are there for someone else. It is also a way to make a good impression and win over a new audience. At the same time, it's great because we hang out with colleagues we don't see often. The only problem is that there used to be fewer festivals. The key difference when we perform at a festival is that it is not a full concert. We have to throw out some songs and sometimes it is difficult to find a balance that satisfies everyone, because someone is always deprived of their favorite song. On the other hand, I prefer when we do independent concerts, because they last about two and a half hours and therefore the audience hears many more songs that they like. Today was great, there was positive energy", Hus said after the concert and revealed that the performance at the OK Fest had been arranged a long time ago.

"For the first time, we were hindered by the corona virus. Then after that we had a problem because Aki had health problems, mostly an unfortunate set of circumstances did not allow us to perform until this year. I had no idea what this all looked like, it was strange to me that everything was in Tjentište, but I am really surprised. I wish I was young, for sure I would have brought a tent and stayed in the camp.

And for the end of the program on the Visa Main Stage - the indisputable electro-pop duo Nipplepeople, which the festival audience adores. Mysticism, costumes and breath-taking vocals fit perfectly into the ambience of the Valley of Heroes.

At the end of the evening, the program on the After Party stage was prepared by Resident DJ Yakka and Cristian Varela, and with them the campers danced into the new festival morning.
