Popular Canadian rapper Drake has shared 100 gigabytes of material, including three new songs and tons of previously unused footage, on a site called 100 Gigs for Your Headtop.
The three tracks are "It's Up" featuring Young Thug and 21 Savage, "Blue Green Red" and the Gordo-produced "Housekeeping Knows" featuring Latto. Also available for download on the site are behind-the-scenes footage from music videos, tour rehearsals and studio footage, among others.
This is the first new music that Drake has released since his conflict with colleague Kendrick Lamar. The months-long drama began with Lamar's song "Like That" in March, after which other rappers jumped in - and out - of the conflict.
This spring there was a succession of poems in which they called each other names; Lamar released "Euphoria" and "6:16 in LA," Drake responded with "Family Matters," and Lamar immediately responded with "Meet the Grahams" and the now-big hit "Not Like Us." A few days later, Drake released "The Heart Part 6," but by then the damage was already done, as evidenced by "Not Like Us" debuting at No. 100 on the Billboard Hot XNUMX.
So much has happened in that whirlwind of songs calling out rappers, it's easy to forget that it's been less than a year since Drake's last album, "For All the Dogs," was released.
