Montenegrin singer and author Bojan Delić added another recognition to his biography. At the international festival "Marko Polo", which was held last weekend on Korčula, he received the award of the expert jury for the best arrangement with the composition "Together to the End", which was in charge of Marko Đurašević Mahoni.
"It was great, we are really satisfied, because my goal was to present myself to the audience, I left completely relieved and did not think about awards. Well, it seems that my wish came true this time, so the performance was not only noticed when it came to the audience, but also the jury recognized the quality", Delić told Vijesti.
For the 22nd edition of the Marko Polo festival, Delić chose the track "Together to the End", which he recorded a few years ago, with which he also participated in festivals in Dubrovnik and Ohrid and had notable performances. The musician dedicated that song to his wife, and at the festival in Dubrovnik, thanks to the same composition, Tereza Kesovija noticed him and offered him a duet.
"Right now, while we're talking, I'm sitting and waiting for Neno Ninčević to join us, and there were talks about duets with him even before the festival. The song was well received by my colleagues on Korčula, however, Neno is the one who will guide my career in Croatia, so I will record duets with him, and there will certainly be some, because I expect a lot from cooperation with him", he said. Delic. He used the performance on Korčula to introduce himself to the Croatian media, so he is especially glad that they were interested in interviews with him.
"All this is a new experience for me that I will remember for a long time, and it is a special honor for me that the host of the festival announced me as the "new Oliver". I am especially grateful to him for that comparison, as well as to the audience that enthusiastically accepted it," says Delić, who will mingle with the audience tomorrow in Tivat na Pina as part of the "Summer of Good Taste" event from 20 p.m.
