Iconic British rock group The Cure have released a new song, "A Fragile Thing," the second single from their forthcoming album, "Songs of a Lost World."
It will be the Cure's first album after a 16-year hiatus, and it was previously announced with the song "Alone", which was released at the end of September. The album will be produced by Pol Korket. Later this month it was announced that two more tracks from the release - "And Nothing Is Forever" and "I Can Never Say Goodbye" will be released as live singles.
The English band founded in 1978 marked the eighties with their gothic rock style. The Cure have released 13 studio albums so far and sold over 30 million copies worldwide.
With a rich discography, they have maintained a huge fan base, including a younger audience. On the Spotify platform, they have more than 17 million listens per month, which is significantly more than most bands from the 1980s.
They continued to tour regularly after their last album, "4:13 Dream", holding concerts that often lasted more than three hours.
