For years, Snoop Dogg has been announcing an album called "Missionary", which will be produced by another famous name in hip hop - Dr. Dre. Now he has officially confirmed that the album will be released on December 13 via Death Row Records, the legendary hip-hop label he bought in 2022, Pitchfork reports.
Snoop Dogg has hinted that "Missionary" is an homage to "Doggystyle," his 1993 debut that was also produced by Dr. Dre.
"This album will show a different level of maturity in his lyrics and my music. I think this is one of the best works I've done in my career," said Dr. Dre talking about the new album earlier this year.
"Missionary" will be the successor to "BODR", Snoop's first solo album on the renewed label Death Row Records, released in February 2022.
