The Irish post punk band Fontaines DC joined forces with the famous English director Andrea Arnold working on the music video for the song "Bug".
The track, from their new album 'Romance', has been given its own visual directed by Arnold, and the video features scenes from her upcoming film 'Bird' starring Barry Keoghan and band member Carlos O'Connell.
"Andrea Arnold was kind enough to make a music video for our song 'Bug,' featuring Barry Keoghan as Bug in her new movie 'Bird,'" O'Connell said, according to Pitchfork.
"'Bug' is a song that was created quickly and conquered everyone even faster... A big thank you to Andrea Arnold for letting us so close to her visionary universe. It will be remembered like we remember Bacon or Goya," he added.
"Bird" is Arnold's fifth feature film and follows her 2016 film "American Honey." The main roles are played by Franz Rogovski and Nikija Adams, and the film will be released on November 8.
Fontaines DC are currently on tour promoting their album "Romance".
