Zhiva got creatively fired up. The young Serbian singer-songwriter Iva Pažin, as her real name reads, released a new album called "Zhiva Zdrava" and at the same time a music video for the song "Rebra".
"Thanks to the top team that participated in the realization of the video, it was hard and cold, but also the most fun three days of my life," Zhiva wrote on the Instagram social network.
The video inspired by kung fu movies was directed by Petar Dolić. The text for "Rebra" is written by Zhiva, in composing the music she was helped by Tihomir Radić (Toshi Domaćin), who is also the author of the arrangement, and took care of the mix and master.
The album "Zhiva Zdrava" was released for Glitch Records and contains nine songs, including the single "Nije moj problem", released last month.
The talented author drew the attention of the audience with last year's debut album "Preterujem", on which she showed that she excels in a diverse combination of genres - alternative pop, through jazz and hip hop, to D'n'B and reggae.
"The first album is an important first step for every artist. I wanted to break the ice and get out of the comfort zone both musically and thematically. The audience's reactions are better than I could have ever expected. I feel that they recognized the sincerity and vulnerability in my songs and that is exactly what I wanted to achieve," said Zhiva recently in an interview for "Vijesti".
