Musician Elton John said he struggled to watch his new musical because he almost lost his sight after an infection.
Yesterday, he attended the screening of the film "The Devil Wears Prada" (The Devil Wears Prada) in London and told the audience that he "couldn't come to many previews because he lost his sight."
"So it's hard for me to see it, but I like to hear it and it sounded good tonight," he said.
John revealed in September that the infection had left him with "limited vision in one eye".
He wrote on Instagram that he is being treated, but that it is an extremely slow process and it will "take time before the sight returns".
John wrote the music for The Devil Wears Prada, a stage musical based on the 2006 film about a young journalist who works at a fashion magazine.
