Montenegrin singer Nina Žižić will defend the colors of Montenegro at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, which will be held in Basel, Switzerland. She will perform the song "Welcome", with which she took second place at this year's Montesong.
The decision to have Nina as a representative came after the winner of Montesong, the group NeonoeN, withdrew from the competition due to a video from the Zabjelo Culture Festival from the previous year, where a working version of their song "Clickbait" was performed. Nina lost the first place in the competition by only one point, but it was her song that was recognized as a worthy choice for the biggest European music scene.
Montenegro, as in previous years, showed agility and was among the first to choose its representative for the prestigious music competition.
