One of the most prestigious events dedicated to classical guitar in the region, the Nikšić Guitar Festival celebrates its 19th edition this year. Namely, this event gathers top artists, guitar builders and classical music lovers from all over the world, bringing a rich program of concerts, educational activities and presentations of artistic creativity.
The performance of an internationally recognized artist and winner of prestigious competitions, a Croatian guitarist, attracts special attention this year Lovro Peretić which will be presented with a concert, a masterclass and a guitar exhibition. His rich career includes collaborations with leading orchestras and exceptional record production. His concert will take place tonight at 21.20:XNUMX pm in the Great Studio of RTV Nikšić, so the audience will be able to watch him live in the program. A day later, the artist will hold a masterclass for students and pupils from music academies from the region, as well as for pupils from Montenegrin music schools.
The festival also provides a unique opportunity to get to know the works of prominent guitar builders, among them Dimitris Piperidis from Greece and Sergey Rusakov from Russia. Their works will be exhibited and presented through the interactive program of the festival, and their work will be presented in the program of RTV Nikšić. On Sunday, December 15, from 15 p.m., an exhibition of their instruments will be held in the multimedia hall of RTV Nikšić, which is open to all visitors.
The central event of the festival is the final of the competition, which brings together three exceptional finalists, so the Frenchman will present his skills Emily Fend, Greek Vasilis Poulios, while arriving from the United Kingdom Mark Lejton. The final will be held on Sunday, and the start is scheduled for 21.30:XNUMX p.m. with live TV and YouTube broadcast on the Nikšić Guitar Festival channel.
