Eras Tour (ErasTour) of the American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift is the biggest musical event of the outgoing year, and in terms of financial results the most successful in the history of music with a total of more than 2,2 billion dollars in revenue, in 149 performances with a total of 10,3 million tickets sold, i.e. almost 70 thousand viewers on average per concert.
The tour that started on March 17, 2023 in Glensdale, Arizona, triumphantly ended a few days ago in Vancouver and was declared the biggest and most profitable both last year and this year.
In 2024 alone, Swift earned $1,04 billion from the tour and set new standards in every way, regardless of serious controversy about the (successful) use of modern technology to disguise the fact that all those concerts were not entirely "live" in the first place ".
In the first part of the tour, Taylor Swift had very strong support, because in front of her was Sabrina Carpenter, a famous actress and singer who, however, made a huge breakthrough this year with the hit "Espresso", so her solo tour at one point threatened to be disrupted the fame of a more famous colleague.
However, Sabrina did not manage to break into the top 10 most successful in 2024 with her soft porn provocations, so that list was mostly filled by musical "dinosaurs" such as Coldplay, Bruce Springsteen, P!nk, Madonna, Metallica and the Rolling Stones.
The list of the top ten most successful by earnings only in 2024 looks like this:
1. Taylor Swift - $1,043 billion
2. Coldplay - 421,7 million dollars
3. P!nk - $367,3 million
4. Luis Miguel - 261,5 million dollars
5. Bruce Springsteen - $251,3 million
6. Rollingstones - $235 million
7. Bedpan - 210,9 million dollars
8. Zak Brajan - $199,1 million
9. Metallica - 179,4 million dollars
10. Madonna - 178,8 million dollars
