The Belgrade rock group Van Gogh held a concert last night at the New Year's market on Independence Square in Podgorica.
The concert was held on December 19, the Day of Liberation of Podgorica.
As Mediabiro reports, the audience was warmed up by DJ Felix at the very beginning of the evening, the Podgorica band Vrpca raised the atmosphere to a new level with its alternative rock sound, while Van Gogh gave a rock concert at the end of the evening.
Delight with the music program, but also with this year's edition of the New Year's market, was shared by some of the visitors, as well as the tenants of the holiday houses.
"We are delighted with this year's Pazar, even more people come than last year. The houses offer very good products. The sausages are excellent, there are good beers on offer, we warm ourselves with mulled wine, mulled brandy, mulled gin. Everything is beautiful, there is a festive atmosphere, the government warmth. Van Gogh created a great atmosphere," said a representative of one of the holiday houses.
"The market is very important because it gathers people from Podgorica and the surrounding towns. You can see from the square that everything is full and that everything is very good", stated one of the visitors.
"I'm really delighted, everything is beautiful, I came unplanned. The energy is beautiful, people are smiling, dancing. Really everyone should come to visit Pazar and enjoy it," said another visitor.
The fun at the market will continue today, December 19, when, as part of the celebration of Podgorica's Liberation Day, the Hannibal band will perform at Independence Square starting at 19 p.m., followed by the Galija group starting at 21:30 p.m.
