The song "Kraj" by a young Montenegrin singer Anastasia Koprolcec she boldly stepped onto the music scene. Namely, at the recently held Montenegrin selection for the Eurovision representative, Anastasia opened the competition by bringing a completely new energy to the stage, and from the moment the songs were released, this young woman from Podgorica was singled out not only by fans of the biggest music competition, but also by her colleagues.

She admits that it was not easy to be the first to go on the festival stage, however, her previous studio experience, which she gained by singing backing vocals, helped her a lot to present "Kraj" in the right way, and she is satisfied with how her first single was accepted.

"I had high expectations and I fulfilled them. So I can freely say that everything went exactly as I imagined, and the reactions of my family and closest friends tell me that everything was phenomenal", she says in an interview with Vijesti and adds:

"Considering that this is my first song, my first competition, that I was the youngest, it is a great responsibility to be the first and to stand in front of all the big names and personalities who performed after me".

The aforementioned ballad is signed by a Montenegrin musician Bojan Marović, and Anastasija reveals how the collaboration came about and whose idea it was to perform with her at Montesong:

"Bojan is the main 'culprit' of why I signed up for this kind of competition. Since my great desire was to meet Bojan, we achieved good communication through a chance meeting and when he heard me for the first time, he immediately knew that I had the potential, the courage to show people who I am and conveyed all the emotions I have in me, so as a sign of everything when the competition came out, he just said: 'Let's go'. Since he got to know me very well and knew what I like and enjoy the most, I let him do the song himself. When I heard it for the first time, when it wasn't even clearly arranged or set, I knew that this was it", recalls Anastasia, who had an interesting choreography that resembles sign language at the performance at Montesong. By the way, Anastasia took care of every detail - costume, hairstyle, and the entire performance was packaged so that it looks simple.

"Everyone interpreted my performance in their own way, which makes me very happy. The goal of the performance itself is that we all need to get out of our comfort zone, to start doing minimal things that will be very impressive for everyone and attract attention. Choreography awakens the deepest emotions, where we can see happiness, joy, sadness, as well as anger, even the goal was not for the choreography to accompany the song, but for what I feel inside to be able to convey exclusively with minimal movements. And the beauty lies in simplicity, I think my performance proved that, of course", the interviewee of Vijesti is confident.

Ballads have always been a special category in the music world - songs that seek the heart and soul of the singer, but also the audience. They are an ideal opportunity for performers to demonstrate their vocal range, control and technique, while at the same time conveying deep emotions, which was her goal when choosing this number.

"I enjoy singing ballads. I've always admired people who have a huge emotion in them and who manage to transfer it to me, rather than some crazy energy or technique, which of course counts, but I'm a very emotional person and that was the path that would best represent me. The first impression is very important, that's why I wanted people to get to know me right away and to see who I really am," she explains.

Competition festivals used to be a great platform for young performers as it was a great opportunity to present themselves to a wide audience. Stars were born on those stages who are still relevant today. However, many competitive festivals have been shut down, and there are fewer and fewer opportunities, as well as media that support young forces. It is not easy for young artists to reach the audience, and every song needs a campaign, a video. But Anastasia proved that quality is still crucial.

"The most important thing is good marketing. We live in such an environment that whatever you do, it is very important that you promote it well, that it reaches as many people as possible. Although, on the other hand, I'm proof that it doesn't always have to be like that, because when all the songs were released, 'Kraj' entered training without any advertising and without any sponsorship. So I believe that quality always finds its way", notes Anastasija, who has a lower musical education, played the piano, and has been in love with music since she was a child.

"It was my mother who knew from my birth that I would be involved in music. Nothing was ever imposed on me, I was surrounded by the right people who recognized the talent in me and only nurtured it", he reveals and answers the question "who is Anastasija Koprolčec":

"Anastasia is a person full of love, who, through her emotion and energy, wants to make people happy and to awaken in them the most beautiful part of man, which is love," says the musician, for whom the past year was crucial when it comes to her musical career, because she finally decided to present to a wider audience. About what the audience can expect from her in 2025, she reveals:

"The moment I broke through my, what I like to say, flight of life, I don't want to stop. So this year you can expect another appearance with a new song", concludes Koprolčec.
