Croatian singer-songwriter Nika Turković has released a new single titled "Glupan" announcing her upcoming studio album.
In a statement to the media, she said that the song is about "a character who fits that name perfectly."
"Glupan" brings changes in both the sonic and visual fields for Nika. The song is characterized by an energetic pop rock sound and a love theme, and this is also the most guitar-heavy track by the Croatian musician.
Nika wrote the lyrics, as is usually the case, while Antonije Perin also wrote the music. The singer changed her image for the video.
"It was time for a change, both in sound and visuals, so we decided to play around with the aesthetics and the hair. I think that's a fun part of this journey," she said.
After the singles "Tvoja" and "Ima smisla", "Glupan" is the third song announcing her upcoming album, the successor to the release "11", which was released in January 2023 to critical acclaim in Croatia.
