The young hope of the Montenegrin rap scene, Jutro, has released a new single called "Chique", accompanied by a video directed by Remety Beat. It is her first solo video.
Đulija Perišić from Herceg Novi, who is behind the pseudonym Jutro, has been active on the music scene for several years, and in collaboration with the production team Knowhere2Run, she has released several singles such as "Reli", "Bistra", "Karakondžula"...
She also appeared on the compilation "Domaća rabota" in 2023 with the song "Ođe ja čuvam", and is probably best known to the audience as one of the participants in the feminist anthem "ANEMOI", which brought together all active Montenegrin female rappers last year.
Jutro said that the song "Chique" and the accompanying video send the message that of all the dogmas and values from the past, we should cultivate those that center on philanthropy and cheerfulness.
"It also calls for freedom from those who hold us back from authentic functioning that serves us all," she added in a press release. Jutro is the author of the lyrics, the music, mixing and mastering were done by Knowhere2Run, and the video also features Mia Antunović (co-writer of the video) and Iva Vukotić.
