Belgrade band Vrooom has released a new single "Svima treba ljubav" (Everyone Needs Love), accompanied by a video directed by Marko Grubić. This is the first of two new singles with which Vrooom announces their upcoming album, which is set to be released in May.

Grubić is also the author of the composition and arrangement, while the lyrics of the song are by playwright Milena Bogavac.

"'Everyone Needs Love' is a song about the surrogate of falling in love. Falling in love is the most exciting feeling given to a person, but it implies an irrational element, loss of control, insecurity, so most of humanity does not have the courage for it, does not allow themselves to fall in love, but chooses a series of (ridiculous) rituals and socially conventional behaviors, with which love and falling in love are not lived, but acted out, played out. The scenes in the video depict this phenomenon," Grubić said in a press release.

Vrooom released five albums from 1999 to 2011, with singles topping almost all major music charts in Serbia, and the band has performed several hundred times in Europe. The band members have composed music for over 60 theater plays, as well as numerous performances, exhibitions, documentary and feature films, and other cultural events.

The band consists of Dušan Dušanović (vocals, guitar), Aleksandra Pejić (vocals), Boško Stanojević (vocals), Marko Grubić (bass guitar, keyboards, programming) and Jamal al Kiswani (saxophone), and they will release their upcoming album on Multimedia Music.
