Montenegrin director and member of The Books of Knjige organization Zoran Marković Mrs For many years, thanks to the shows he does, he has been following the developments on the music scene. Current hits are often found on his sets while playing music, and now he has decided to devote himself more actively to this branch of art, and today the first track from Zonja's musical kitchen arrives. Namely, it is the single "Kad kući krenem" (When I Go Home), sung by his friend and collaborator Andrea Demirović.
The song, as Zonjo points out, is thematically focused on our people abroad who want to return home permanently. This single is accompanied by an attractive video whose footage Zonjo filmed in New York.
"Although my intention was to make original, fun, club music that I can spin at my DJ shows, this song happened unexpectedly. It's sad that young, smart people are leaving our country and have no desire to return to the political den and the freaky system that the parties have built from the nineties to today. Only knowledge and immense love for Montenegro can save us, and I see that it is dangerously lacking. That's why this song is here, as a call for help," says Zonjo about this project.
The main role in the video was entrusted to Danica Roganović, the director of photography is Miodrag Marković, and the editing is signed by Đuro Mihaljević.
Zonjo, of course, designed and directed the video:
"The scenario is simple. A successful Montenegrin woman wants to return to her homeland and says goodbye to New York. The video is almost documentary-like because Danica is a beautiful woman from Novi Sad who has a very good job in the IT sector and can be said to have achieved the American dream. She is also drawn to Montenegro and often comes home. No acting was needed. We just recorded who she is," admits Zonjo.
The video can be seen on the Disco murva YouTube channel, and Zonjo promises that he will not stop at this track and that the audience can expect new songs and videos soon.
