Podgorica-based DJ and producer DJ Mono presented the single "Samo Lagano", for which the accompanying video has just been released.
It is the third single (after “ANEMOI” and “OL SKUL”) from the album “Nikola”, released in February on the Beats per Montenegro (BPM) label.
"The video for 'Samo Lagano' features a collaboration with Ronaldo Maximum, the best-kept secret of the Balkan underground rap scene. The production is by Vibin wit DJ Mono and the Knowhere2run team, while Ronaldo dominates the track with the assistance of Ivana Racković on the catchy chorus," the statement reads.
The video was created by the Atomic Production team from Podgorica.
"Although light and relaxed at first listen, the song thematizes slower, deliberate progress in a time where speed and superficiality are forced. The message of deliberate resistance to the pressure of rushing into the future is packaged in a bright and energetic groove," say BPM.
"The album “Nikola”, signed by Vibin wit DJ Mono, represents a unique blend of instrumental introspection and narrative hip-hop, based on beat, atmosphere and precisely selected collaborations. Made up of carefully constructed tracks that balance between club energy and contemplative moments, the vocal sections of the album, in addition to Ronald Maximum, also feature Random, Jutro, Maria B, Labia, Apro, Kurgashian and Noyz and Dedduh from the Who See klapa," they conclude.
The album "Nikola" is available for listening on all music platforms.
