Bedem Fest will be held at the city fortress in Nikšić from August 21st to 23rd, and the NGO “Pro futuro”, which organizes the festival, has announced the first names of the performers who will perform at the 16th edition. These are Magnifico, 'Vampiri' and 'E-play'.
"In the authentic ambience of the large summer stage at the fortress, carefully selected performers will perform, and for the first time in Nikšić, the fantastic Magnifico will perform - a Slovenian musician, singer-songwriter and showman who, along with stories and jokes, will present his rich musical opus from a career that has lasted over 30 years. 'Pukni zoro', 'Samo malo', 'Hir aj kam, hir aj go', are just some of the hits that we will enjoy on the waves of great mood and excellent performances," the statement reads.
"The concert of the group 'Vampiri', whose notes we all happily danced to despite the difficult times of the '90s, will be an opportunity to remember songs we haven't heard in a long time, and which we know almost by heart, while for singer Aleksandar Eraković Era, the performance at Bedem Fest will be a unique opportunity to perform for the first time at a music festival in Montenegro, in front of a 'domestic' audience, given that his roots are tied to Nikšić, which gives the whole story additional charm. After the recently released album 'Diši duboko', the band 'E-play' will continue its journey presenting an authentic musical expression led by the group's frontwoman Maja Cvetković, so the concert at Bedem Fest comes at the right time," the organizers announced.
As they said, the aforementioned names are just an introduction to the announcements of Bedem Fest, which this year will continue to "surprise with concerts that we don't have the opportunity to hear so often or in some other place, which is a recognizable feature of the festival."
"Bedem Fest is not just a music event, but a platform that brings together cultural heritage, all generations of visitors, the local community, partners and green initiatives," they conclude in the statement.
