The winner of the ninth "Bunt Rok" festival is the band "Paks", and this band, as previously announced, will perform at this year's edition of the Bedem Fest in Nikšić, thanks to their first place win.
"According to the evaluations of the festival's expert jury, the winner of the 9th 'Bunt Rok' festival is the Belgrade band 'Paks', the runner-up is the group 'OKOT', and third place was won by the band 'San Gvida sa Hokkaida'," reports the RTS portal.
"With strong riffs, raw emotion and an audience that appreciates the value of original music and wants to support those who are just entering the scene, the ninth edition of the RTS Bunt Rock Festival has been successfully completed. The overall impression: rock and roll in Serbia is not the sound of the past, but the voice of a new, self-aware generation of musicians," RTS writes.
The leading trio, during the three evenings of the program, were the author of the show Bunt and Bunt Rock Festival, Branka Glavonjić and musicians Zoran Stefanov from the band "Iskaz" and Aleksandar Marković, member of the band "Bolesna štenad".
"For a chance to make history and become part of the new generation of the domestic music scene, ten finalists - five from each semi-final of the 9th BRF, 'took the field' in the final, in front of the festival's expert jury, the audience and the RTS auditorium. The finalists were 'Grešni raj', 'Skelet psiho manijaka', 'Polsky', 'Irina Sace', 'OKOT', 'Paks', 'San Guida sa Hokkaida', 'Vever', 'Switch' and 'Restore'", is part of the festival report.
The winners of the “Bunt rok” festival 2025, the group 'Paks', won the golden statuette of lightning, a cash prize of two thousand euros and the PGP RTS award - recording a studio album. In addition to the silver statuette of lightning, the second-place “OKOT” was also awarded 1500 euros, and “San Guida sa Hokkaida”, as third-place winners, took home the bronze statuette and a cash prize of 1000 euros.
The members of the expert jury for the finals of the 9th Bunt Rock Festival were: Maja Cvetković (band “E-play”), Ivan Fece Firči (EKV, Milan Madenović Foundation), Milena Agbaba (band “Repetitor”), Miloš Ignjatović (Cinema city), Milovan Bošković (band “Zemlja gruva”), director of PGP RTS and composer Vladimir Graić, and editor of the RTS Music TV channel, Ana Milićević.
Individual awards were also given to the most outstanding participants, for best vocalist Jovana Stojić, best guitarist Aljoša Trkulja, best bassist Aleksa Zečević, and best drummer Minja Vuletić.
