Podgorica rock musician Lazar Radulović, who performs under the name Polimistik, has independently released his first single and video "Padam na to", announcing his first official EP.

The song "Padam na to" was recorded and produced at the "Stivi" studio in Podgorica, and the lyrics, arrangement, and music were written by Radulović.

In addition to him, who played guitar and bass on the song, as well as sang the song, Ivan Ivanović (drums/guitar/backing vocals) and Stefan Pantović (backing vocals), who also produced the song, also participated in the work on it. The video for the song “Padam na to” can be viewed and heard on the Polimistika YouTube channel, and is also available on digital platforms.

In an interview with "Vijesti", the Montenegrin musician talked about when the EP will be released, how many songs will be on it, and his plans when it comes to gigs and performances.

At the beginning of the interview, Polimistik reveals how the song "Padam na to" was created, but also what it is about, or rather what message it sends with it.

"'Padam na to' came about spontaneously and quickly. I had a melody in my head and I knew that I wanted to express what I carry inside me through the song, so the words slowly came by themselves. I believe that everyone has something inside them that they 'fall for' and the song invites them to indulge in it," he said, and then explained why it was chosen as the first single to be released and thus announce the EP.

"Although it was the first song released, 'Padam na to' is actually one of my newer songs. I decided to make it the first single because it's singable and melodic, and I believe it's a good introduction to my future work," says Polimistik.

The musician from Podgorica filmed this song, and as he says, filming the video wasn't too demanding.

"I came up with the idea to record a video because I wanted to make as big an impression as possible. The video was simply recorded on a phone," says Radulović.

"Most of the footage was shot in Belgrade at Kalemegdan, in one day. I did the filming and editing myself, with the help of my girlfriend. In the end, I'm very satisfied with how it all turned out," continues the interviewee of "Vijesti", and also looks back at the audience's reactions.

"People's reactions have been quite positive and I'm pleasantly surprised by the support. I'm pleased with how the audience has reacted, I hope it will continue to be like that in the future," says the musician, whose plan is to release one single at a time.

"The EP will have three songs in total. 'Padam na to' is the first single that introduces my work, followed by a song that I will soon release as the second single, called 'Samo drži me'," announces Radulović.

"It's a little faster and harder sounding than the first single. After that, there will be a third song. Together, this will make up an EP and my first official release with which I will introduce myself to the audience," he adds, revealing that he plans to release the EP in the fall of this year.

"I also hope to have the opportunity to perform the songs live at concerts," continues the musician, who also wants to make a film of the other two singles.

"I would like to record at least one more video. I believe that the audience finds songs that are accompanied by a video more interesting. If the opportunity arises and there is a good idea for a video, I will definitely realize it," says Radulović.
