Isidora Nikolić receives the award for best debutant at the Pearl of the Adriatic festival

Young Kotor resident Isidora Nikolić, a music professor, won the award for best debutant at the Biser Jadrana festival last night.

Isidora sang the song 'For Love Without Pain', the lyrics of which were written by Marijana Kadić Bojanić, and the music and arrangement by Dejan Božović.

Last night, the first competition night of this festival was held in Tivat.

The jury decided to award the "Golden Pearl" to Andrijana Božović for the song "Dobro je". The Silver Pearl went to the group Makadam, and the Bronze to Majda Božović.

The awards were presented by Bojan Delić, festival director. Several other awards were also presented by Olivera Mišković Vidojević, secretary for social activities of the Municipality of Tivat.

The top eight performers from last night will perform with 17 colleagues from the region, chosen by the festival's selection committee.

Last year's winner of the first edition of the Biser Jadran was Princ, who won first place with the song Čardak. The lyrics of last year's winning song were also written by Marijana Kadić Bojanić, while the composer was Danijel Alibabić, and the arrangement was done by Nemanja Mihajlović.

The festival is organized by the NGO “The Missing Piece”.
