Sarajevo artist Maja Milinković, who successfully combines fado and sevdah, has released a new single "Potkuplujem samoću".
The new single presents Maja in full maturity of expression - vocally, authorially and emotionally. It was recorded between Lisbon and Sarajevo, with production by Fernando Nunes (Portugal), with a carefully crafted sound that combines acoustic and contemporary elements.
In a recognizable blend of fado and sevdah, Maja once again builds a bridge between two worlds - Portuguese pain and Bosnian tenderness. Her voice, at once gentle and strong, carries the entire weight of the loneliness and longing she sings about. In her interpretation, loneliness is not emptiness, but a space of encounter with emotion, with truth, with what remains when everything else falls silent.
The song "I Bribe Solitude" is also an overture to the new author's album "Fadolinka 3.0", with which Maja continues her artistic journey without the need to find herself, because she is already a whole.
With this cycle, she deepens and expands her own expression, bringing even richer emotion and a more contemporary sound.
