Nikšić Guitar Festival, which celebrates two decades of existence this year, continues its program with a series of concerts: pianists Lovro Pogorelić, two Srdjan Tosic (guitar) and Milena Stanisic (harp), and guitarists Goran Krivokapić.
"Over three evenings, the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of artistic expressions and interpretations, connected by the same thread - dedication to music, and the excellence that has become the festival's trademark," the festival organizers said.
On Wednesday, October 15th, starting at 20 pm, Croatian pianist Lovro Pogorelić will perform at the Nikšić Theater.
"An artist of exceptional interpretative power and recognizable artistic individuality. Pogorelić is a full professor at the Music Academy in Zagreb and a visiting professor at the Perosi Academy in Bieli (Italy). Since 1998, he has been the artistic director of the PagArt Festival," the Guitar Festival announced.
The next concert, which will be held on Friday, October 17th at the TV Nikšić studio, with a live broadcast from 6:30 PM, brings a combination of two instruments - guitar and harp, interpreted by Srđan Tošić and Milena Stanišić, artists whose collaboration stems from many years of joint musical creativity. In recent years, the duo has performed at concerts in Belgrade, Pančevo, Novi Sad, Trieste and Banja Luka.
"On Saturday, October 18th, in the Nikšić Television studio, with a live broadcast from 22 p.m., viewers will be able to watch a recital by one of the most important classical guitarists of today, Goran Krivokapić, an artist whose name has occupied a special place on the international music scene for years," the concert announcement adds.
