The soundtrack from the film “Marty Supreme” will soon be released on vinyl, and for now it is possible to purchase it in advance.

The award-winning film, directed by Josh Safdie, stars Timothée Chalamet as Marty, with support from Gwyneth Paltrow and Odessa Azion.

The soundtrack from the film is by Daniel Lopatin and has been available in digital form since last year, and now it has been confirmed that the songs will also be available on vinyl, and the set will include two records - black and transparent.

In the set with the records, fans will also receive stills from the film, a Japanese comic, and a double-sided poster, all of which can be purchased in advance through A24 Studios.

“The music came from an obsession with rhythm and movement. By composing hundreds of sounds like hammers and bells, we tried to convey Marty's changing, kinetic and fast nature, which is like the ping-pong ball itself,” Lopatin described the soundtrack.

“I wanted the music to be between tradition and innovation, with neoclassical elements pulling the world towards itself, while our hero struggles with rules, limitations, pressure... The electronic moments lean towards the future he is contemplating,” he continues.

In addition to the songs from the film that were included on the soundtrack, Peter Gabriel's "I Have The Touch" is also included, and the musician is delighted with that information.

"That song didn't get much attention, and I love table tennis. Now I see that they both got attention thanks to the movie. Thanks to Josh Safdie," the musician wrote on his website.

The film "Marty Supreme", which earned the cast members several Golden Globes, is based on the life and career of American tennis player Marty Raisman.
