One of the most promising singer-songwriters of the younger generation, Thomas, before the performance of Dora released his second studio album "Sudbine i priče nove", an ambitious and emotional release that confirms his artistic maturity and a clear step forward in expression and production.
The album features twelve authentic songs that were created over a year, the result of a long-term authoring process and intensive work in the studio.
"Fate and new stories" are intimate, honest and lived testimonies: they depict a wide spectrum of feelings that ToMa experienced, from sadness and disappointment to pride, love and hope.
"First of all, I'm proud of these 12 songs. They are personal, experienced and lived through, and they reflect everything I've felt over the past year. I see all the nights in the studio, conversations and playing music with dear people today as a big personal and professional step forward," says ToMa.
On the album, with Tom and his long-time collaborator Jan Jakovljev were joined by a rich team of authors and producers: Anja Grabovac, Hrvoje Domazet, Franko Štrbac, Marin Benja, Borna Ledić, Mihovil Šoštarić, Mahir Sarihodžić, Luka Mihajlović, Robert Aralica, as well as numerous instrumentalists and backing vocalists. Together, they created a sound that combines different genres and atmospheres, while remaining honest and direct.
The current single from the album is the song "Ledina", a strong, emotional ballad in which ToMa Dora returns to the stage for the third time. The song, which speaks of the silent pain after a breakup, of vulnerability and the healing process, won over the audience on the first listen:
"Ledina" "It speaks of the sadness that follows pain, but also of the refuge we seek in moments of destruction. It is an intimate confession of a time of recovery, a place where the heart is left without shelter and illusion, with the hope that time will do its thing," explains the author.
The album "Sudbine i priče nove" is not just a collection of songs, it is a musical diary of a year of life, an invitation to the audience to enter ToMin's world of feelings and stories and to recognize at least a part of their own destiny in each song.
