Musician Kid Rok has decided to publicly respond to allegations that he sang to playback during the All-American Halftime Show, held at the same time as Bad Bunny performed during the Super Bowl halftime show.

As he said in an interview with Laura Ingrey, he "faced technical difficulties" while singing the song "Bawitdaba" from his "Devil Without a Cause" album.

"It wasn't in sync. My DJ who actually raps that song with me wasn't in sync," Kid Rok claims, adding that he's "just answering critics for fun."

"He's coming to Nashville and we're going to do it again in my living room, and I'm going to release a recording to show people how it's done. It would be too easy if I sang on repeat, but if everything was pre-recorded," the musician added.

He also said that his energetic performance contributed to the technical problems being more noticed.

"I was jumping around the stage like a monkey, rapping my song, and while I was taking a breath, my DJ was filling in parts of the song... When I noticed we weren't in sync, I called their attention," Kid Rok pointed out.

The All-American Halftime Show was organized for the first time this year, as a result of the dissatisfaction of Donald Trump supporters that Bad Bunny, a Puerto Rican who performed all the songs in Spanish, was chosen for the biggest spectacle in the USA - the Super Bowl halftime show.
