American rock band Guns N' Roses still holds the status of hard rock legends, almost 40 years after their formation.
Their 1987 debut album "Appetite for Destruction" again charted on the US charts, including Top Hard Rock Albums, Top Rock and Alternative Albums and the Billboard 200.
The Los Angeles band, formed in 1985, became famous for its raw hard rock sound and hits like "Sweet Child o' Mine" and "Welcome to the Jungle."
Currently, "Appetite for Destruction" is ranked 11th on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart, 47th on the Top Rock and Alternative Albums chart, and 188th on the main Billboard 200 chart.
Data from Luminate shows that the album sold 1.200 physical copies, while the total figure, including digital streaming and downloads, is 9.650 equivalent albums.
In addition to the nostalgia it brings with its legendary hits, the band continues to attract attention with new work. Their current single "Nothin'" broke into the Top 10 of Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart this week, showing that Guns N' Roses still means a lot to rock audiences around the world.
