Montenegrin rappers Janjo and Ronaldo Maximum have released a video for the single "Devil's Work", officially announcing a new chapter of cooperation within the framework of their joint project - the album "Records from the Underground".
The single brings a modern boombap sound with touches of electronica.
This collaboration began on Janj's album "Kerovi znaju", where, as they say, "something clicked" on a creative level between the two authors. This synergy resulted in a joint studio work and an album of 10 songs, which will soon be released to the public.
Thematically, the song "Devil of Work" raises questions of personal responsibility, choice, and social deviation. The lyrics intertwine introspective moments and broader social criticism, creating a synchronized message that speaks to both the individual and the collective. The atmosphere of the video further enhances this feeling.
The music for the single was composed by Janjo in collaboration with Cukra from the band Traka (Vuk Luka Ukropina), while the mastering was done by Goran Simonoski from LaPlant Studio.
