The opening ceremony of the 2026 FIFA World Cup will bring together numerous music stars, and Katy Perry will be among the main names of the program in Inglewood.
The crowd at SoFi Stadium ahead of the first match of the championship between the USA and Paraguay on June 12th will be entertained by Anita, Lisa, Rema and Tajla.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino said that the selection of performers represents a blend of different cultures and musical styles.
This year's championship will be special because the opening ceremonies will be organized in the three countries where the championship is being held - the USA, Canada and Mexico.
Alanis Morissette, Alessia Cara, Eliana, Jessie Reyes, and Michael Buble will perform in Toronto before the match between Canada and Bosnia and Herzegovina, among others.
The music program in Mexico City will be headlined by J Balvin, Tyla, Lila Downs, Alejandro Fernandez, Belinda ahead of the Mexico-South Africa match.
