Eric Clapton ended a concert in Madrid earlier than planned after being hit by a vinyl record thrown from the audience during his performance.
The incident occurred on Thursday night (May 7) at the Movistar Arena in the Spanish capital, during his European tour. As he was finishing a greatest hits set, an object from the front row hit him in the chest.
The guitarist had just finished performing the song "Cocaine" and was supposed to return for an encore and play "Before You Accuse Me", but after the incident he decided not to return to the stage.
