Last night, celebrations marking the 20th anniversary of the restoration of Montenegro's independence began in the Montenegrin Royal Capital, and the ceremonial program was held on the Palace Square.
The opening of the event was marked by a performance by Bojan Marović, after which the audience enjoyed the timeless hits of the band Perper, which further enhanced the atmosphere in the central city square.
A special moment of the evening was the performance of the song "Goro moja", one of Perper's most famous and most performed songs, which they sang together with Bojan Marović and Nenad Knežević Knez.
The lyrics for this song were written by Ljubo Jovović, while the music was written by Nikola Radunović, frontman of the band Perper. The band competed with this song at the 1998 Mediterranean Song Contest, after which it became a huge hit and remained one of the trademarks of their work.
After Perper, the evening continued with a performance by Nenad Knežević Knez.
