The Podgorica Cultural Summer at the beginning of June brings two music events that will transform the capital into an open stage dedicated to great world hits and bands that have marked rock and alternative music.
The first concert is scheduled for June 2nd at 21pm on the plateau in front of the “Banja” facility, where Stereo Deficit, a tribute band playing the music of the Arctic Monkeys, will perform, while the second is planned for June 5th at the same time in Karađorđev Park, where Piknik Park will bring the sound of one of the most influential modern bands - Linkin Park. Admission to both events is free.
These are concerts that announce the traditional event "Day of the Best", and bring the audience evenings filled with energy, nostalgia, and recognizable musical choruses that have marked generations.
Stereo Deficit has been known for years as one of the most energetic tribute bands dedicated to the band Arctic Monkeys. It was formed in 2010 in Kruševac, and today operates from Belgrade, united around the idea of faithfully conveying the sound of the British indie rock scene. The band was founded by three brothers, and over time they became recognizable for their strong and dynamic performances throughout the region.
Their repertoire includes hits such as "Do I Wanna Know", "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?", "I Wanna Be Yours" and "Arabella", which the audience welcomes in an atmosphere that combines club energy and concert adrenaline.
The second night belongs to Piknik Park, a Budapest-based tribute band that performs the music of the American band Linkin Park. Their performances are known for their powerful interpretation and emotional loyalty to the original band, which marked an entire era of alternative rock.
From early tracks like “One Step Closer” and “Crawling”, to anthems like “In the End” and “Numb”, to later hits like “Breaking the Habit”, “Bleed It Out” and “New Divide”, Picnic Park takes the audience on a distinctive journey through the catalog of one of the most influential modern bands.
Stereo Deficit and Piknik Park have been filling clubs and festival stages across Europe for years, and their concerts are considered encounters of nostalgia and energy that bring together different generations of audiences.
