Rod Stewart has announced that his next UK tour in 2027 could be the last of his career.

The legendary rock musician, who turned 81 in January, has been performing for more than six decades, including stints as a member of the groups Faces and Jeff Beck.

Stewart has been on his farewell tour "One Last Time" since 2024, as part of which he also performed at the Glastonbury Festival last summer.

He has about twenty more concerts in the US expected by the end of this year, and in a new interview with TalkSport he also spoke about his plans for the coming period, hinting that he is considering retiring after another British tour.

"I'm going on a UK tour next year and I think that's probably it," said the "Maggie May" hitmaker.

He has not yet announced concert dates for 2027.

Back in 2024, Stewart announced that he was ending major world tours, stating that his 2025 series of arena concerts would be the last of their kind, although he stressed at the time that he had no intention of retiring.

"I love what I do and I do what I love," the musician said at the time, adding that he still feels great and is in good physical shape.

Speaking about aging and entering his eighth decade of life, Stewart admitted that he is aware of the passing of time, but that he is not afraid of it.

"We will all leave one day, we are all in the same situation. That's why I want to enjoy the coming years as much as I can," the musician said.
