The first edition of the Cattaro Teen Festival begins

The first edition of the Cattaro Teen International Music Festival starts tonight at 20 pm in Kotor.

"Discotheque Maksimus opens its doors to the new generation at 20 p.m. and transforms Kotor into a stage from which the voice of the future will be heard. Participants from Montenegro, the region and Europe will send strong messages from the jewel of UNESCO's world cultural heritage," the organization said.

The special guest is Dejan Dedović Dedduh from Who See Klapa, who will hang out with the children, talk to them about music, and finally present his musical selection of everything that Who See Klapa is.

"The other member of the Who See klapa, Mario Đorđević Noyz, is unable to come due to justified personal reasons, but once again sends his full support to the organizers and participants of Cattaro Teen and wishes them all the best," it was said yesterday at a press conference held in the Multimedia Hall of the "Nikola Đurković" Cultural Center in Kotor.

The director and creator of the Cattaro Teen International Music Festival, Stevan Faddy, emphasized that he is "pleased that today from Kotor we can send a beautiful and important message: that young people deserve a serious stage, a serious space, serious attention and the opportunity to show through music who they are, what they feel and how much they can do."

"Cattaro Teen was created as a natural continuation of the story we started through Cattaro Junior. After the children's festival format, we wanted to open a space for young people, for a generation that already has its own attitude, its own voice, its own emotion and the need to be seen and heard. That is precisely why this festival is not just a competition. It is a space for meeting, exchange, friendship, creativity and cultural connection. I would especially like to greet all our participants who come from Montenegro, the region and Europe. Thank you for being part of the first Cattaro Teen edition. Your presence is the most important reason for us that this festival exists," said Faddy.

The director and creator of the Cattaro Teen International Music Festival, Stevan Faddy, the director of the Nikola Đurković Cultural Center, Radmila Beća Radulović, and the director of the Kotor Tourist Organization, Jovan Ristić, spoke about what the Cattaro Teen Festival means for Kotor.
