Gipsy Kings, Amira Medunjanin and Rosenberg founders of La Familia and Guitar Art Summer Festu

The 20th Guitar Art Summer Fest will kick off with a concert by the legendary Bryan Adams on June 26th, and the festival will continue from August 2nd to 6th when some of the most famous names in world music will arrive at the Kanli Kula fortress - Gipsy Kings by Diego Baliardo, Amira Medunjanin and Rosenberg's band La Familia, the organization announced.

"One of the most respected interpreters of sevdah, an artist whose voice and emotion erase the boundaries between cultures and generations, Amira Medunjanin, will be with the audience on August 2. Amira brings melodies in which she masterfully intertwines tradition refined with contemporary sound, nostalgia, elegance and unique artistic strength. We highlight interpretations of famous pop and rock hits from the former Yugoslavia that Amira incorporates into her performance with exceptional spontaneity," the statement states.

"On August 4, the Kanli Tower will be filled with the energy and passion of the Gipsy Kings by Diego Baliardo band. They are the heirs of the original group, so we expect great rhythms of flamenco, Catalan rumba, but also world hits from them that have marked more than four decades of a successful career. Their concerts are a true celebration of music, life, and togetherness everywhere in the world, unforgettable because they have an atmosphere in which the boundary between the stage and the audience disappears. If there is a band that can turn a fortress above the sea into the largest dance floor in the Mediterranean, it is the legendary Gipsy Kings," the organizers add.

"Rosenberg La Familia, representatives of the top of the world's gypsy jazz scene, will be at Kanli Kula on August 6th, presenting all the virtuosity, improvisation and authentic spirit of Django Reinhart's music. They are led by legendary guitarist Stochelo Rosenberg, an artist who is ranked among the greatest guitarists of today by critics and audiences. His music is extremely melodic, and the way he plays is considered one of the most brilliant forms of guitar playing," the statement continues.

All three concerts start at 21 pm, and tickets are on sale through the online sales network tickets.rs, as well as online and at the Herceg Fest box office.
